The garlic, white wine, and lemon juice infuse the shrimp and pasta and are just divine. Angel hair pasta shines with this recipe versus the thicker pastas, as it doesn&#8217;t overpower the shrimp. The thin strands scoop up the silky sauce well, and look classy! Chopped parsley on pasta is often just a garnish, but in this case it really adds to the flavor and color, so throw it all in, toss and mix well. And don&#8217;t forget to add the red pepper flakes when heating the\u00a0olive oil for that extra kick. Since angel hair pasta cooks in less than 2 minutes, we will cook the pasta itself when the shrimp and sauce are ready.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-group\"><h4 class=\"wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold\">Cook the shrimp and sauce<\/h4><ul class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions\"><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3413-step-1-0\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3413-step-1-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Add half of the butter and half of the olive oil to a large skillet and melt over medium-high heat.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3413-step-1-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">When the butter has melted, add the shallots, garlic and red pepper flakes and saut\u00e9e until shallots become translucent.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3413-step-1-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan and cook them until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3413-step-1-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Add the wine and lemon juice and bring to a boil.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3413-step-1-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Add the rest of the butter and olive oil.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-3413-step-1-6\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">When the butter has melted, add back the shrimps to the pan. Drain the pasta well.
